We are seeking a WAQTC Lab / Field Technicianto join our Idaho Falls/Pocatello, ID team! The successful hires will perform both Lab and Field Technician work. Come join us!

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Obtain Required certification for testing and inspection of Construction materials and phase of work as well as traffic control certifications
• Obtain representative samples of construction material.
• Review plans and specs for project requirements
• Perform inspection/testing for rebar, epoxy, concrete, masonry, asphalt, and other items.
• Assist in the Lab for additional testing of material.
• Provide clean and accurate reports to be submitted prior to leaving the jobsite
• Return calls or email in a reasonable period.
• Assist with the Pocatello and Idaho Falls workload and surrounding area.

Minimum requirements:

• High School diploma/GED.
• 1-year of experience in one or more phases of construction.
• One or more current certification (Aggregate, In-place, Embankment, Asphalt).
• OSHA 10 certification.
• Able to work (when needed) on weekends, out of town, early in the morning, or late evening hours.

Other miscellaneous qualities:

• Candidate will be required to pursue relevant certifications such as ACI, ICC, and WAQTC Testing Technician, etc. within 60 days of employment.
• General computer skills such as: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
