Job Description
SUMMARY:Responsible for directly supporting the warehouse operations and keeping the flow of receiving and shipping. This is achieved by accurately receiving purchase orders, processing return merchandise authorizations, processing shipment confirmations, and other assorted tasks. The position requires a positive and courteous attitude and teamwork at all times. COMPANY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Integrity& Honesty – Demonstrate and enforce full compliance to rules, regulations and standards in a candid, truthful and ethical manner.
- Focus – Stays on task to achieve goals and objectives even during difficult and stressful situations.
- Teamwork – Cooperatively works with team members to solve problems, identify waste and meet organizational goals.
- Prepare and sort sales orders for the truck routes.
- Assign order pickers and process shipment confirmations of sales orders.
- Receive purchase orders and match vendor paperwork.
- Research discrepancies.
- Assist with will-call customers and sales rep deliveries.
- Coordinate between office and drivers on delivery questions/updates.
- Obtain quotes and schedule shipments with carriers.
- Schedule dock appointments with customers.
- Accurately update details in our software system.
- Process returns merchandise authorization.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- The ability to accurately read various types of documents necessary to do the job.
- The ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- The ability to effectively communicate with other employees and supervisors.
- Self-starter to stay busy.
- Take direction and work closely with supervisors to develop positive relationships.
- Attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
- High School Education or GED equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience.
- Warehouse experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from internal and external customers whose first language is English.
