Warehouse Associate
Location: Lynchburg, VAShift: Monday-Thursday, 3:30 PM - 2:00 AMPay: $19.75 per hour
Job Responsibilities:
- Load and unload trucks.
- Receive, store, and track inventory accurately.
- Pick, pack, and ship orders.
- Monitor and replenish warehouse supplies as needed.
- Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy and condition.
- Report damaged or defective products to management.
- Assist with inventory investigations and resolve shipment issues.
- Operate and maintain warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Follow warehouse safety, security, and housekeeping guidelines.
- Report any safety or operational concerns to the Warehouse Manager.
- Assist and oversee visitors, employees, and contractors in the warehouse.
- Participate in team meetings and complete other assigned tasks.
Requirements:
Experience:
- 1-2 years of forklift experience with sit-down and stand-up forklifts.
- Forklift certification preferred.
- Shipping and receiving experience is a plus.
- Experience with high-reach trucks is a bonus.
Skills:
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Understanding of warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, and inventory.
- Ability to safely operate material-handling equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and time management.
Physical Requirements:
- Must have 20/20 vision or corrected vision.
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds.
- Capable of standing, walking, bending, and climbing for extended periods.
- Must be comfortable working in different temperature conditions.
