We are looking for a dependable, motivated individual to join our warehouse team and help keep our field operations running efficiently.
Position Summary
The Warehouse Associate / Delivery Driver is responsible for receiving, organizing, loading, and distributing materials, tools, and equipment to job sites throughout the Kansas City metro area. This position plays a critical role in supporting our field technicians and construction crews by ensuring materials are delivered safely, accurately, and on time.
Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, unload, and organize incoming shipments.
- Pick, stage, and prepare materials for daily deliveries and job site requests.
- Deliver materials, equipment, and tools to construction sites and service technicians.
- Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Maintain an organized, clean, and safe warehouse environment.
- Assist with inventory counts and inventory control.
- Inspect company vehicles and trailers before and after use.
- Secure loads properly for safe transportation.
- Assist with stocking materials and organizing warehouse inventory.
- Maintain accurate delivery and receiving documentation.
- Follow all company safety policies and DOT regulations when applicable.
- Perform other warehouse and logistics duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds repeatedly throughout the day.
- Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Dependable with excellent attendance.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred
- Previous warehouse experience.
- Forklift operating experience or certification.
- Experience towing and backing trailers.
- Experience operating pickup trucks with trailers.
- Construction, HVAC, electrical, or mechanical industry experience.
- Basic computer skills for inventory and receiving.
Physical Requirements
- Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and reach throughout the workday.
- Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment and company vehicles.
