Job Description

BrightKey is looking to hire a Warehouse Associate to grow their team in Odenton, MD. The ideal candidate will have experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment and a strong commitment to safety and productivity. This role involves pick/pack operations, palletizing goods for shipment, operating various warehouse equipment, and maintaining inventory accuracy.What experience is required for this position?

Proven experience as a Warehouse Associate or similar role
Must have FORKLIFT EXPERIENCE
Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs.
Experience with Microsoft Excel spreadsheets is a plus but not required.

Key Information:

Pay: $20.00 to $22.00 per hour

Hours: First shift - Monday through Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm
Location: Annapolis Junction, MD (on-site)

Key Responsibilities for the Warehouse Associate:

Pick/Pack Operations:
- Accurately pick items from inventory based on customer orders.
- Pack products securely to prevent damage during shipping.
- Label packages with shipping information and ensure proper documentation.
Palletizing Goods:
- Organize and stack products on pallets for shipment.
- Ensure pallets are stable, secure, and meet shipping standards.
Equipment Operation:
- Safely operate pallet jacks, forklifts, scissor lifts, and cherry pickers.
- Perform regular equipment checks and report any maintenance needs.
Inventory Management:
- Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory movements and transactions.
- Assist in managing stock levels and reordering supplies as needed.
General Warehouse Duties:
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
- Follow all safety protocols and company policies.
- Assist with receiving and unloading incoming shipments.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals.

Qualifications for the Warehouse Associate Role:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Prior experience in a warehouse or similar role is preferred. '
Must have experience operating Forklifts.
Basic computer skills for inventory management systems.
Offer of employment subject to drug and background screening.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods.
Capacity to perform physical tasks that require repetitive motions.
Able to lift up to 70 pounds.
