Job Description
Job Title: Warehouse Associate (Picker/Packer)Hours & Location: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm • Middleburg Heights, OH (44130) Pay & Benefits: $18.25/hrContract-to-hire with a pay increase when hired in by the clientStrong benefits package after hire-in, including high-quality medical coverage (90/10 plan), 401(k) and pension plan, plus paid holidays and vacationBonus potential (including year-end bonus), and flexibility for scheduled appointments with advance notice1-hour lunch + two paid 15-minute breaksYou’ll join a busy, stable distribution warehouse supporting fabric and hardware products. This is hands-on work that keeps you moving through numbered aisles—ideal for someone who likes clear processes and staying active.Job Responsibilities:Pick customer orders using an RF scanner (order picking)Palletize pulled items and prepare shipments for outbound deliveryPack products into boxes, label cartons, and keep shipments organizedPull rolls of fabric and cut to required lengths when neededOperate a pallet jack at times (no tow motor/forklift required)Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, efficient work areaRequired Qualifications:Able to lift up to 70 lbs at times and stay on your feet in a warehouse settingComfortable working in hot/cold warehouse temperaturesStrong attention to detail and a dependable work ethicAbility to speak, read, and write in EnglishAble to work with minimal supervision after trainingWorkplace Details:Strict attendance and punctuality expectationsNo smoking/vaping in the warehouse; cell phones used only on breaks/lunchDress code: jeans/shorts, t-shirt, and closed-toe shoesDay 1 includes thorough safety trainingPre-Employment Requirements: Background check and drug screening required.
