Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Previous forklift experience preferred
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Previous experience in a laboratory supporting quality control and testing a bonus
Key Responsibilities:
- Load and unload various, diversly packaged items with the use of forklift equipment
- Receive all raw materials to be used in production and for testing purposes.
- Perform weighing of items with industrial scales
- Gathering products and materials for quality control testing, making notes on findings in support of quality control team when requested.
- Store finished product in designated storage area,
- Staging items for successful loading in anticipation of freight carrier arrival
- Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the Warehouse Manager and quality control team.
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
- Demonstrates positive leadership and ability to hold self and others accountable.
- Must be able to work in areas with moderate dust and noise, hot and cold temperatures, and around automated and semi-automated manufacturing equipment.
