Overview
We are hiring a Warehouse Associate / Forklift Operator to support a warehouse inventory consolidation project. This role will assist with moving, organizing, and relocating inventory as two warehouse operations combine into a single location. The position involves forklift operation, inventory handling, material movement, and general warehouse support in a fast-paced environment. This is a full-time temporary opportunity for candidates with recent forklift experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work safely and efficiently.Responsibilities
- Assist with warehouse inventory consolidation and relocation activities
- Move materials and inventory from existing storage locations to designated new locations
- Remove inventory from racks and place materials into new rack systems
- Operate a sit-down forklift to move and organize inventory safely
- Use RF scanners to track inventory movements and warehouse transactions
- Pull and prepare orders for shipment
- Receive, verify, stage, and stock incoming materials
- Perform general warehouse housekeeping and cleanup duties
- Work closely with contracted partners and warehouse personnel to complete inventory moves
- Maintain a clean, organized, secure, and safe work environment
- Follow all company safety procedures and warehouse best practices
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 months of recent sit-down forklift experience
- Experience using RF scanners (RF guns)
- Ability to read and understand work orders and warehouse documentation
- Forklift operating experience required
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to perform physical warehouse tasks throughout the shift
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous warehouse experience in shipping, receiving, delivery, inventory control, or material handling
- Product knowledge or the ability to quickly learn warehouse products and processes
- Experience supporting warehouse transitions, inventory moves, or consolidation projects
- Strong organizational and inventory management skills
