Warehouse Associate Job Type: Temp-to-HireLocation: New Britain, CTPay: $18/hourSchedule: Monday Friday | 7:00 AM 3:30 PMPosition Overview We are seeking a reliable and organized Warehouse Associate to support daily warehouse and inventory operations for a busy facility in New Britain, CT. This role is responsible for receiving, stocking, and distributing materials while maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring the workspace remains organized and efficient.Responsibilities
- Receive incoming shipments and verify contents against packing slips and purchase orders
- Stock materials in designated storage locations while maintaining proper organization
- Pick and prepare materials for internal distribution throughout the facility
- Maintain accurate inventory records using computer-based systems and office applications
- Assist with cycle counts and inventory reconciliation as needed
- Operate pallet jacks and other basic warehouse equipment safely
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized storeroom environment
- Assist with general warehouse and materials handling tasks as assigned
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of 1 year of warehouse or storeroom experience
- Comfortable using computers and basic office applications for inventory tracking and documentation
- Experience operating a pallet jack safely
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift, push, or move items weighing 25 lbs or more
- Dependable with a strong work ethic and ability to work in a team environment INDA
