Warehouse Associate

Duration: 0-6+ Months Shift: 9 AM to 5:30 PMInterview Type: N/A, potentially phoneJob Description: This role will mostly consist of boxes coming to a series of desks that are equipped with shipping software and the worker processing those boxes one at a time. The worker will fill the boxes with a paper substance that keeps the parts from moving around too much, they will then print the label, seal the box and put it down a slide onto a conveyer belt that takes the box to a truck. This person will be mostly assisting with packing/loading the trucks, however, there may be some picking of orders from the warehouse floor. The hiring manager would really like to emphasize the importance of good communication skills in any candidates submitted. This role does not require the use of any large equipment. Just a hand cart at times. These candidates must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and be on their feet all day. They will be moving boxes all day and get a paid break ever 2 hours. After 4 hours they will get an unpaid lunch break. The manager is looking for someone who has strong English speaking/reading skills. This person should be able to be fast and accurate working with their hands. Any kind of picking/packing experience is helpful, but not necessary. Warehouse experience is a plus.There is free parking. They have a security gate that the worker will receive a badge for once they begin their assignment.Dress Code: Khaki pants or shorts, Jeans, comfortable and closed toe shoes. No gym shorts, no yoga pants, no skin-tight clothing, no dangling/hanging clothing.
