Job Description
Our client, a leading transportation and logistics organization, is seeking Part Time Warehouse Associates to join their team. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be part of the logistics support team supporting shipping, receiving, and inventory management. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Warehouse Associate
Location: Brooklyn, OH
Pay Range: $18.50
Shift: 6:00 AM - 12:00 PM, 5 days on / 2 days off 30 hours/week
What's the Job?
- Assist with shipping and receiving activities, including unloading trucks and checking in merchandise
- Match purchase orders to sales orders and distribute orders to sales associates for processing
- Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, and requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or shipped
- Ensure the warehouse is accessible and safe for employees and customers
- Complete work safely, adhering to all safety policies and procedures
What's Needed?
- Ability to lift, push, or pull at least 75 pounds
- Basic written and verbal communication skills
- Desire to work 30 hours per week.
- Availability to work various shifts, including days, evenings, nights, and weekends
- Experience in dock or warehouse operations in the transportation industry is a plus
