Job Description
PAY: $15/hr
Schedule: Requires open availability, weekends as needed.
EXAMPLES OF WORK PERFORMED FOR WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE:
- Loading and unloading of trucks, make sure all merchandise is labeled with a destination using a scan gun properly, removing any damaged merchandise and take to repair shop, stage merchandise in correct area within the warehouse in a timely fashion, assembly/disassembly of merchandise
- Keep warehouse area clean, removing trash from work area, sweeping work area, inspect merchandise for functionality, damages, defects, and imperfections
- Loading customer merchandise, make all necessary copies and paperwork for the Control Booth and obtain customer signatures on waivers, knowledge of correct ticket procedures.
- Gathering empty boxes and breaking them down, sweeping warehouse, operating the trash compactor, move items lift trucks or carts, account for all scheduled items for next day delivery, checking for shortages through auditing the manifest; use proper procedures when working with knifes, flat carts, and lifting merchandise.
- Assisting other departments in the warehouse as needed; check daily closing assignments and responsibilities; use excellent customer relations when working with internal and external customers.
- Perform any other duties as directed by management
