Join Our Team: Warehouse Associate Needed in RIOur distribution team in Rhode Island is actively seeking a Warehouse Associate to join us immediately. If you're skilled with a forklift, that's a significant advantage!Position Overview: We offer a swift start within 7 days for a dedicated individual eager to contribute to our warehouse operations. Your role will involve handling products-receiving, sorting, loading, and unloading-as well as executing various warehouse tasks. Proficiency with computers is essential.Key Responsibilities:Greet and assist delivery trucks

Track and process shipments efficiently

Label and tag merchandise accurately

Package goods following our established protocols

Manage and prepare orders for dispatch

Maintain records of damaged or defective merchandise

Utilize inventory and logistics software for data entry

Ensure accurate processing, packaging, and shipping of orders

Keep inventory organized and up-to-dateConduct quality checks on products and shipments

Optimize warehouse space utilization

Handle incoming stock and replenish inventory

Fulfill and verify customer orders meticulously

Comply with all safety and health regulations

Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse environment

Carry out additional warehouse tasks as needed

Requirements:Computer literacy is a must

Valid driver's license

Solid background in warehouse operations

Proficiency in operating warehouse machinery (forklift, hand truck, pallet jack, etc.)Familiarity with warehouse management systems

Collaborative spirit and strong organizational skills

Physical ability to handle items weighing up to 50 lbs

Effective communication and problem-solving abilities
