Position Overview

ZiBiz Corporation, an established technology company located in Hauppauge, NY, is seeking an experienced Warehouse & Fulfillment Supervisor to lead and participate in the daily operations of our warehouse and fulfillment function.

This is a hands-on supervisory position for an experienced warehouse professional who can lead employees while also taking direct responsibility for receiving, inventory, order fulfillment, shipping, quality control, and warehouse organization.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of relevant warehouse, distribution, logistics, or fulfillment experience, including experience supervising or leading employees.

We are looking for a dependable, organized professional who takes ownership of operations, maintains high standards for accuracy and productivity, and can help us continuously improve our warehouse processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of warehouse and fulfillment employees.
• Assign work, establish daily priorities, and monitor employee productivity and accuracy.
• Train, coach, and develop warehouse employees.
• Oversee receiving, inspection, put-away, inventory control, picking, packing, and shipping.
• Ensure customer orders are picked, processed, packed, and shipped accurately and on schedule.
• Maintain accurate inventory and investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
• Conduct and supervise cycle counts and periodic physical inventory.
• Process and review transactions within the company's ERP/order management system.
• Coordinate with administrative, purchasing, sales, and customer service personnel regarding orders, inventory, and deliveries.
• Inspect incoming and outgoing products and shipments for accuracy, condition, and quality.
• Maintain an organized, clean, efficient, and safe warehouse.
• Develop, document, and enforce warehouse procedures and work instructions.
• Identify opportunities to improve warehouse layout, workflow, productivity, inventory accuracy, and order fulfillment.
• Monitor shipping supplies, warehouse equipment, and operational requirements.
• Provide management with regular updates regarding warehouse performance, staffing, inventory, and operational issues.
• Participate directly in warehouse and fulfillment activities when necessary.
• Perform additional operational responsibilities and special projects as required.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant warehouse, fulfillment, distribution, inventory, or logistics experience.
• Prior experience supervising, leading, or training warehouse employees; 2+ years of direct supervisory or team-lead experience strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of receiving, inventory control, order fulfillment, picking/packing, and shipping.
• Experience using ERP, inventory management, warehouse management, or order-processing systems.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to inventory and order accuracy.
• Ability to establish priorities and manage multiple responsibilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to hold employees accountable while maintaining a professional and positive work environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.

What We're Looking For

We are particularly interested in candidates who have progressed from hands-on warehouse work into a leadership role. The successful candidate should be comfortable working alongside the warehouse team as well as supervising it.

This position requires someone who can identify a problem, determine the cause, implement a solution, and follow through to make sure the problem stays resolved.

Experience working with technical products, electronics, IT/networking products, distribution, or a B2B environment is a plus.

Compensation & Benefits

$31.50 -$ 37.50 hourly, depending on experience and qualifications.
