Warehouse Clerk – Parts Department
Full-Time | Non-Exempt | Monday–Friday + Occasional Saturday
Summary
Construction Machinery Industrial is hiring a Warehouse Clerk for our parts department in Juneau, Alaska. This is a hands-on warehouse position. Receiving and shipping parts, running local deliveries, forklift operation, and keeping inventory moving to support our customers across Southeast Alaska.
Essential Functions
- Assist with shipping and receiving — unload trucks, check in merchandise, match purchase orders to sales orders, and distribute to customers and internal departments.
- Read and process customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, and requisitions to determine items to pick, move, or ship.
- Move materials between receiving, storage, shipping, and other designated areas.
- Sort and place materials on racks, shelves, or bins by size, type, style, color, or product code.
- Fill work orders and requisitions; stage parts and tools for the service department or field technician shipments.
- Prepare parcels for ground, air, and water freight shipment.
- Call customers for will-call part pickups and assist with customer counter traffic.
- Issue credits for returned parts and cores.
- Record all materials received or distributed in the inventory system.
- Participate in monthly and annual physical inventory counts.
- Maintain required certifications: forklift, CFR 49, IATA, and DOT physical.
- Keep the warehouse safe, accessible, and organized at all times.
- Assist with facilities maintenance and special projects as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Compensation & Benefits
Pay is based on experience and qualifications. Starting pay at $24/hour. We also offer:

What We’re Looking For
No need to know everything coming in — but this position requires someone who shows up ready to work and takes the job seriously.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- Forklift certification or ability to obtain one
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage time well
- Previous warehouse experience preferred
- Heavy equipment parts experience a plus, not required
Schedule
- 8-hour shifts
- Monday through Friday
- Occasional Saturday as needed
