United Beverages of North Carolina, LLC, was formed by the merger of four companies: The Blue Ridge Distributing Company, Piedmont Distributors, Proctor Wholesale, and Rowan Distributing. These four successful companies merged to be more competitive in the alcoholic beverage industry. United Beverages Salisbury Branch is moving to Concord, NC in June 2021.
Job Description
We are looking for a maintenance worker to perform upkeep tasks such as repairs and cleaning. You will be responsible for ensuring facilities are clean and functional. Being reliable with an eye for detail is critical for this job. The ideal candidate will have experience and solid technical knowledge. You must also possess manual dexterity and physical stamina.
- Previous Warehouse experience is desired but not required;
- Perform cleaning activities such as dusting, mopping etcetera;
- Conduct basic maintenance tasks;
- Operate riding floor scrubber;
- Report safety issues to the Warehouse Manager;
- Must be a self-starter and self-motivated with a positive attitude.
Qualifications
We are looking for people who want the opportunity to work in the beer/beverage industry. Must be at least 18, possess a high school diploma or equivalent, three months similar or related experience, forklift, and pallet jack experience, possess the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Must have top-notch internal and external customer service and communication skills. Prior distribution warehouse experience preferred.
