Warehouse/Delivery Driver

JOB SUMMARY

The Customer Delivery driver acts as the liaison between NAPPCO's customers and the sales team.  They are onsite regularly with customers ensuring a smooth distribution of product, communicating with designated customer contacts, and positively representing NAPPCO.  VMI programs are fundamental to our operations and a valued position within our organization.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain all customer on-site weekly product inventory replenishment tasks
  • Conduct upselling and relationship building with existing and potential customers
  • Update CRM system daily with the day’s events
  • Perform daily scanning/sync tasks
• Interface with customers to see if any other needs exist or assistance is required; communicate these needs back to appropriate NAPPCO contacts.
• Assist with on-site customer location product identification
• Maintain labels and customer bins/racking systems to ensure that inventory is maintained in a clean and organized manner.
• Review min/max requirements with the customer to ensure they continue to meet the customer inventory expectations
• Communicate any changes, shortages and concerns directly to customers and branch management
•  React to any customer concerns/returns promptly
• Ability to pull orders for upcoming deliveries and load vehicles 
• Other warehouse duties assigned by the Warehouse Manager 

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

• Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously
• Ability to pick up and put down up to 50lbs 
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products and intermediate computer skills
• Strong demonstrated verbal and written communications skills
• Must be approved to drive a company vehicle
• Have a valid Texas Driver’s License
• Strong work ethic, self-motivated with a desire to succeed.
• Ability to meet customer needs and perform physical tasks
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
