Job Description

An employee in this position may be called upon to do any or all of the following essential duties:

  • Collecting products from the warehouse and safely loading onto trucks and vice versa
  • Receiving and documenting merchandise for delivery or return
  • Helping keep an inventory of all merchandise entering or exiting the warehouse
  • Answering calls, monitor emails, troubleshoot shipment issues, compile drivers' paperwork, and ensure customers are serviced in a timely manner
  • Plan schedules and dispatch drivers, monitor routes, and proactively plan to avoid delays
  • Coordinate with customers and drivers for timely pick-ups and deliveries
  • Coordinate logistics of daily workload for drivers.

Required Skills, Qualifications, & Experience

  • Prior experience working in a warehouse or similar field
  • 1-2 years of dispatch experience preferred
  • Knowledge of operating a forklift
  • Ability to work on feet for 8 hours and carry loads up to 80 pounds
  • Ability to work independently and safely
  • Great verbal and written communication
