Title: Warehouse Associate Duration: 18 months contract Location: Indianapolis, IN
Shift: 2 Positions will be on the A shift. 2 positions will be the C shift.Depending the week it will be 2 on 2 off and 3 on or 2 off 2 on 3 off. Shift Timing : 5:45 AM - 6:00 PM
Position Summary• Support the order processing function including picking, packing, and shipping operations.• Perform receiving, inventory handling, and warehouse management system (WMS) transactions.• Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and company standards.• Maintain accuracy, efficiency, and organization in warehouse operations.
Responsibilities• Support order processing activities including picking, packing, and shipping.• Receive and put away manufactured products or raw materials.• Unload trucks, verify quantities received, and enter receipts into WMS.• Pick and pack customer orders using warehouse computerized management systems.• Perform warehouse functions including cycle counting and processing material for destruction.• Follow all applicable laws and regulations (e.g., OSHA, FDA, DEA).• Perform general cleaning of work area daily.• Maintain punctuality and availability for scheduled shifts.• Maintain a safe work environment and support Health, Safety, and Environment goals.
Qualifications
Education:• High School Diploma
Experience:• Previous experience operating a forklift• Powered Industrial Truck License or willingness to obtain
Skills:• Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS)• Ability to perform picking, packing, and shipping operations• Knowledge of inventory control and material handling processes• Strong attention to detail and accuracy• Ability to follow safety regulations and procedures• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
