Job Description
Warehouse Forklift Operator
- Day Shift: $19.00 per hour
- Night Shift: $20.00 per hour
Warehouse Forklift Operator Must-Have Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of forklift experience in a warehouse or distribution environment
- Experience operating one or more of the following: Stand-Up Reach Truck, Sit-Down Forklift, Dock Stocker, Order Picker, or Electric Pallet Jack
- Experience using RF scanners for inventory tracking and order fulfillment
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
- Basic computer and inventory system experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Reliable attendance and the ability to work overtime when required
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS)
Warehouse Forklift Operator Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Material Handling
- Safely operate forklifts and powered industrial equipment to move products throughout the warehouse
- Load and unload inbound and outbound trailers
- Transport materials to storage locations, staging areas, and shipping docks
- Stack, store, and retrieve pallets while maintaining product integrity
Order Fulfillment
- Pick, stage, and prepare customer orders using RF scanners
- Verify product quantities and locations for accuracy
- Assist with shipping, receiving, and replenishment activities
- Meet daily productivity and accuracy standards
Inventory Control
- Perform inventory transactions using RF scanners and warehouse management systems
- Report inventory discrepancies or damaged products
- Maintain accurate inventory throughout the warehouse
