Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and dependable Warehouse Handyman to maintain the facility within our accounts. The ideal candidate will have experience in general maintenance, including painting, plumbing, and mechanical repairs. This role requires a proactive individual who can troubleshoot issues and ensure a safe, efficient, and well-maintained warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on warehouse facilities, including plumbing, painting, and structural components.
Inspect and maintain warehouse equipment, such as equipment, loading docks, and racking systems.
Conduct preventive maintenance to reduce downtime and improve efficiency.
Repair and replace damaged doors, flooring, shelving, and other warehouse structures.
Assist in setting up and installing new equipment and workstations.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
Monitor inventory of maintenance supplies and request restocking as needed.
Respond quickly to maintenance requests and emergency repair situations.

Qualifications & Skills:

Proven experience as a handyman, maintenance technician, or similar role in a warehouse or industrial setting.
Strong knowledge of plumbing, painting, and mechanical systems.
Ability to operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
Experience with equipment repair and warehouse machinery maintenance is a plus.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Physical ability to lift heavy objects, climb ladders, and perform hands-on repairs.
Valid driver’s license (if applicable).

Preferred Qualifications:

Certification in a trade (e.g., electrical, HVAC, plumbing) is a plus.
OSHA or safety training certification.
Experience working in a fast-paced warehouse or distribution center environment.

Compensation: $22.00 per hour
