Warehouse Handyman

We are looking for a skilled and dependable Warehouse Handyman to maintain the facility within our accounts. The ideal candidate will have experience in general maintenance, including painting, plumbing, and mechanical repairs. This role requires a proactive individual who can troubleshoot issues and ensure a safe, efficient, and well-maintained warehouse environment.

This position is Monday - Friday 8:00am-4:00pm.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on warehouse facilities, including plumbing, painting, and structural components.
• Inspect and maintain warehouse equipment, such as equipment, loading docks, and racking systems.
• Conduct preventive maintenance to reduce downtime and improve efficiency.
• Repair and replace damaged doors, flooring, shelving, and other warehouse structures.
• Assist in setting up and installing new equipment and workstations.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
• Monitor inventory of maintenance supplies and request restocking as needed.
• Respond quickly to maintenance requests and emergency repair situations.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Proven experience as a handyman, maintenance technician, or similar role in a warehouse or industrial setting.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing, painting, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
• Experience with equipment repair and warehouse machinery maintenance is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Physical ability to lift heavy objects, climb ladders, and perform hands-on repairs.
• Valid driver's license (if applicable).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in a trade (e.g., electrical, HVAC, plumbing) is a plus.
• OSHA or safety training certification.
• Experience working in a fast-paced warehouse or distribution center environment.
