Warehouse Inventory Associate

New Era Staffing & HR Solutions is hiring immediately for the Warehouse Associate position at the Tommy Bahama facility in Auburn, WA.

Warehouse Inventory Associate Position Summary:

• Perform accurate bin and inventory inspections, including removal of trash, slash guards, and cardboard to maintain a clean work area.
• Verify product labeling by checking MSRP tags, UPC codes, and scan-ability; document any mismatches or missing information.
• Identify and report inventory discrepancies such as damaged items, missing tags, or non-scan-able labels.
• Complete handwritten audit sheets accurately, clearly documenting all identified issues and communicating findings in a legible, organized manner.
• Audit bin conditions for overflow, damage, and proper placement, including checks behind and under bins, and reset empty bins as needed to support efficient warehouse operations.

Additional tasks may be assigned during the project based on operational needs.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                             General Requirements

• Positive attitude—someone who genuinely wants to be here
• Availability between 6:00 AM and 5:30 PM, including weekends
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Comfortable with extensive walking and stair climbing
• Basic comfort with handheld inventory devices and PC use (e.g., scanning, navigating menus, entering data)
• Ability to read and follow instructions from task sheets and reports

Department-Specific Skills

• Experience in small teams and wearing multiple hats
• Familiarity with inspection, auditing, and quality control
• High attention to detail
• Basic knowledge of inventory control (e.g., item movement, location maintenance)
• Experience with counting and auditing tasks to ensure inventory accuracy is a plus

You may also be trained in other areas (Ecom, Picking, Returns, VAS, etc.)

Hours always dependent on workload.  We may work overtime, and we may have short days.
