Job Description
JOB SUMMARY:
A key member of the Inventory Department, a Warehouse Auditor assists in the tracking,
movement, and storage of customer product. Some manual handling of product might be required.
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
• Check all shipping and receiving rows daily and report any discrepancies to a Warehouse Inventory Team Leader;
• Perform monthly audits of each warehouse and reconcile any discrepancies;
• Complete monthly space counts of each warehouse;
• Verify hold tags and status changes for imported product;
• Monitor inventory on hold due to special circumstances;
• Inspect warehouses monthly for quality issues relating to housekeeping, customer requirements, safety issues, etc.
• Summarize monthly findings in written reports;
• Assist and manage semi-annual internal and external inventory audits;
• Fill out and/or apply row identification tags;
• Maintain work area in a clean and orderly manner;
• Perform routine warehouse cleaning, as needed. Tasks may include but are not limited to: sweeping, dusting, removing cobwebs, dumping trash cans, cleaning under dock levelers,etc.
• Operate ride-on sweeper, ride-on scrubber, walk-behind scrubber, handheld blower, and/or power washing machine, as needed;
• Adhere to all Company policies, procedures, and work instructions, especially those pertaining to safety and quality control;
• Report any unsafe conditions to a Supervisor or Manager immediately upon discovery
ATTENDANCE:
• Must be punctual and have good attendance record;
• Must begin and end work on time and adhere to scheduled break times;
• Must keep time off within the allotted PTO provided, unless otherwise allowed, as described in the Employee Handbook.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
• High school education or equivalent (GED); AND
• At least 3 and typically 5 years of related experience or training; OR
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.
• OSHA Forklift Certification is a plus but not necessary.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.;
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence;
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to employees of the organization;
• Ability to communicate effectively with Management, Supervisors, Team Leaders, Specialists, and Customer and share all pertinent information about inventory activities
regularly.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to do the following for an
extended period of time:
• Use hands to handle, or feel and talk or hear;
• Stand; sit; walk; bend; twist and reach with hands and arms;
• Climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl;• Lift, move, push, or pull up to 75 pounds;
NOTE: Specific vision (with or without corrected lenses) abilities required by this job include: close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
COMPUTER SKILLS:
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel;
• Basic knowledge of sending and receiving emails;
• Basic knowledge of SAP preferred but not required.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee may regularly:
• Work in outdoor weather conditions;
• Work in wet or humid conditions;
• Work near moving machinery or mechanical parts and occasional fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals;
• Be exposed to vibrations;
• Be exposed to extreme cold and heat;
• Be exposed to moderate noise levels.
