Job Description

The position is responsible for performing inventory control functions within the warehouse and following the cycle count program, in addition to, supporting and auditing the movement of Finished Goods and non-compliant inventories. This role also acts as liaison between RA/QA, Business Groups, Outbound and Inbound staff to coordinate all physical and system inventory transactions that pertain to regulatory issues, WMi Item Master updates, shortages, replenishments, returns, damages, slotting, location type availability and size to improve efficiencies while maintaining Inventory Integrity.

Job Duties

  • Accurately performs all processes related to the flow of inventory throughout transfers, work orders, kitting, cycle counts, etc.
  • Identify and investigate variances, analyze results, and review discrepancies. Notify department supervisor(s)/manager(s) of inventory discrepancies (i.e., picking errors, inventory shortages, putaway concerns, replenishment errors, etc).
  • Perform maintenance cycle counting and annual PI as scheduled, while also executing re-counts and adjustments.
  • Participates in internal and external audits.
  • Monitor and log non-conforming returns via Sales Force, executing dispositions.
  • Perform RA/QA quality movements/holds which include verifying, segregating and returning stock where applicable.
  • Process Return to Vendor and Destruction orders as requested.
  • Follow all standard operating procedures.
  • Ensures that inventory is stored in appropriate product status/SLOC.
  • Participates in process flow evaluation and improvements as needed to ensure inventory slotting is optimal in creating the most efficient flow throughout the operation. Provide support for identifying & implementing such improvements.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications

Required:

  • High school diploma/GED or equivalent related work experience.
  • Minimum of two years' experience in warehousing/distribution with emphasis on Inventory Control.
  • Mandatory overtime hours are required when necessary to support business needs.
  • Possess the ability to work productively, efficiently & effectively with initiative and drive under tight time schedules and pressure while maintaining attention to detail and quality.
  • Working knowledge and understanding of WMi and SAP systems with the ability to learn and adapt to a new system as applicable.
  • Skilled in MS Excel, MS Word, Power BI, Showcase reporting and review, other software skills a plus.
  • Proficient in data entry and organization.
  • Excellent organizational and follow-through skills.
  • Must have a positive attitude, excellent communication skills with focus on teamwork and rapid problem resolution.
  • Analytical, problem solving, mathematical, and organizational skills.
  • Able to work overtime as needed to support the business needs.
  • Assignments are routine and repetitious in nature.
  • Some degree of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) required (safety shoes).
  • MHE (Material Handling Equipment) requires harness.
  • Battery filling requires face shield, gloves and apron.

Preferred:

  • The ability to operate material handling equipment is preferred.
