Immediately Seeking!Warehouse Lead Monday-Friday| OT as required 7:00A.M-3:30P.M$DOEJob Overview:As a Warehouse Lead, you will play a key role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, ensuring efficient workflow, inventory accuracy, and adherence to safety protocols. You will lead a team of warehouse associates, providing guidance, training, and support to optimize performance and meet operational goals. Your responsibilities will include coordinating receiving, picking, and shipping activities, as well as maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment.Responsibilities:· · Lead and supervise a team of warehouse associates, providing direction, training and support as needed.· Coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, picking, packing, and shipping to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.· Assign tasks and priorities to warehouse team members based on operation needs and deadlines.· Train new warehouse associates on proper procedures for receiving, storing, and handling inventory, as well as operating material handling equipment.· Conduct regular inspections of the warehouse to maintain cleanliness, organization, and compliance with safety regulations.· Enforce company policies and procedures related to safety, sanitation, and workplace conduct, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.· Collaborate with other departments, such as purchasing, customer service, to coordinate workflow and address operational issues.· Utilize SAP and/or other software tools to track inventory movement, monitor performance metrics and generate reports.· Troubleshoot problems or issues that arise during warehouse operations and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.· Assist in the development and implementation of process improvements to enhance efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction.· Participate in regular meetings with facility management to review performance, discuss challenges, and identify opportunities for improvement.· Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork, morale, and employee engagement among warehouse staff.· Lead by example, demonstrating professionalism, integrity, and a strong work ethic in all aspects of your role as a Warehouse Lead.Qualifications:· High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in logistics, supply chain management or ag related field preferred.· Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment with at least 2-3 years of experience in a leadership or supervisory role· Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and coach team members to achieve performance goals.· Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to addressing issues and implementing solutions.· Knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management principles and material handling equipment.· Ability to work effectively under pressure and prioritize competing demandsWhy work for Advance Services, Inc.
