Responsibilities
- Performs all duties of Warehouse Lead
- Oversee daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, and distributing materials and products.
- Receives all GMP items on an electronic inventory system - verify count, vendor item, number, and expiration date against item specification and purchase order before printing the bar code label.
- Maintain accurate inventory records, conduct regular audits, and ensure proper stock levels.
- Lead and mentor a team of warehouse staff, providing training and support to ensure high performance and adherence to safety protocols.
- Ensure that all products are stored and handled according to company standards and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Promote a culture of safety awareness among warehouse staff.
- Support Implementation and enforce safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
- Perform physical inventory management to ensure continuous production of drug products
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials and products.
- Assists in the writing and/or developing of Standard Operating Procedure (SOP)
- Support completing deviations and investigations regarding non-conforming products.
- Work with the electronic and paper-based inventory system to manage the receipt, release, packaging, and shipment of GMP materials
- Perform disposition of all expired materials and maintain applicable documentation.
- Monitor temperature conditions of refrigerators, freezers, and room temperature storage of cGMP materials, including responding to alarms (on-call), as necessary
- Identify opportunities for process improvement in warehouse operations.
- Maintain partnerships in job function and with assembly, materials, and logistics, across the manufacturing operations and across all shifts.
- Fills material requests and deliveries to manufacturing as required.
- Perform cycle audits and physical inventory per schedule.
- Help reconcile inventory discrepancies and report discrepancies to the Supervisor.
- Source and maintain necessary quality documents for the release of critical material.
- Maintain a library of material specs, forms, and other materials documents
- Flexible schedule and able to support all operational requirements
- Perform other duties as assigned to support Supply Chain
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years related experience in a GMP regulated warehouse / materials management
- 2+ Experience with Inventory Management Systems/ERP environment in a biotech or life sciences environment
- Proven experience in warehouse supervision or lead roles, and inventory control, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics principles.
- Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software.
- Effective leadership and communication skills. Ability to motivate and coach a diverse team.
- Ability to lift up 50lbs

- Associate's degree
- Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to adjust to workload in a fast-paced environment
- Able to work independently with little or no supervision of day-to-day tasks
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint
Compensation and Benefits
The posted salary range represents Capricor’s good-faith estimate of the salary range reasonably expected to be paid for this position at the time of hire. Final compensation will be determined based on job-related factors, including the candidate’s relevant experience, education, skills, certifications, scope of role, location, and internal equity.
This position may also be eligible for a discretionary annual performance bonus and, depending on the level of the role, long-term equity incentive awards in accordance with company policy.
