Job Description
HireLevel is looking for a Distribution Center Leads in Hazelwood, MO.
Our client is dedicated to supporting farmers with products that optimize crop production through specifically timed and placed nitrogen delivery. Together, we are working toward a future that is more efficient, profitable, predictable, safe and sustainable for farmers and the planet.
The Distribution Center Lead who will be responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations within an assigned area (Shipping/Receiving, Packaging, Pick/Pack/Ship). These roles ensure productivity, accuracy, safety, and service-level commitments are met within their functional area.

Location: Hazelwood, MO
Shift: Monday-Friday | 8am-4:30pm
Compensation: $22/hr.

Responsibilities of the Distribution Leads:
- Lead daily activities for the assigned functional area to meet throughput, accuracy, and on-time shipment goals
- Assign labor and prioritize work queues based on volume and operational needs
- Monitor workflow and resolve issues related to delays, shortages, damages, or system exceptions
- Ensure proper use of warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, conveyors, scanners)
- Reinforce attendance, productivity, and quality standards
- Enforce all safety policies and company standards
- Identify and communicate workplace safety hazards
- Adhere to safety management standards and OSHA/ANSI Compliant policies
Requirements of the Distribution Leads:
- 2+ years of warehouse or distribution center experience
- 1+ year in a lead, trainer, or informal leadership role
- Working knowledge of WMS/ERP systems and RF scanning
- Proficiency in operating material handling equipment and handheld scanners
- Experience loading and unloading trailers
- Desire to succeed with a strong attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication
Note: This job requires the ability to lift objects of various shapes, sizes, and weights up to 50 pounds and stand up to 4 hours at a time.
