Role Overview
The Operations Supervisor oversees daily warehouse and distribution activities, ensuring productivity, accuracy, and smooth operational flow. Reporting to the Operations Manager, this leader monitors team performance, assigns work, coaches associates, and ensures high‑quality execution across all functions. The ideal candidate is data‑driven, adaptable, and comfortable leading in a dynamic, fast‑moving environment.
This role includes opening or closing responsibilities depending on shift assignment.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead hourly team members to meet daily operational, fulfillment, and delivery goals through effective communication, coaching, and delegation
• Identify and resolve capacity bottlenecks, quality issues, and workflow inefficiencies using data and cross‑functional input
• Support operational tasks as needed, including scheduling, product testing coordination, and pick‑up logistics
• Communicate with partners regarding scheduling, delivery windows, and order‑related details
• Produce accurate daily reporting comparing actual performance to goals
• Provide excellent internal and external customer service
• Collaborate with operations leadership and technical teams to improve SOPs and policies
• Oversee on‑road activity, troubleshoot driver issues, and implement sustainable solutions prioritizing safety and efficiency
• Stay current on industry trends and regulatory requirements, adjusting processes as needed
Requirements
• Must be 21+
• 2+ years experience in last‑mile distribution or logistics
• Associate degree or 2 years of relevant experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Understanding of warehouse movement (manual and system‑based)
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. and perform physical warehouse tasks
• Ability to pass a background check
• Monday–Friday on‑site availability, with occasional weekend shifts
• Clean driving record
