We are hiring for a Warehouse Logistics Operations Lead (with Technical/Systems Expertise)

The Warehouse Logistics Operations Lead oversees daily warehouse activities, ensuring efficient workflow across receiving, inventory, picking, packing, and outbound operations. This role provides hands-on leadership to warehouse associates while also serving as the primary support for system-related tasks, troubleshooting, and process optimization. The ideal candidate combines strong operational knowledge with advanced computer skills, supporting both physical logistics and digital workflow accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day warehouse operations, including staffing, task assignments, productivity monitoring, and workflow coordination.
- Oversee inbound and outbound processes to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory, process orders, generate reports, and resolve system discrepancies.
- Troubleshoot technical issues related to scanners, RF devices, user access, system errors, and equipment connectivity.
- Train team members on WMS functions, handheld devices, and operational procedures.
- Monitor inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits, and root-cause analysis of variances.
- Collaborate with supervisors, transportation teams, and customer service to maintain smooth logistics operations.
- Analyze data to identify process improvements, reduce errors, and increase operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with safety policies, equipment standards, and operational best practices.
- Support new system rollouts, updates, and technology-driven process changes.
Qualifications
- Experience in warehouse, logistics, or distribution center operations, with leadership or lead-level responsibilities.
- Strong computer proficiency, including WMS platforms, RF scanners, Excel, and troubleshooting hardware/software issues.
- Ability to train, coach, and guide team members in both operational and technical tasks.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze data and improve processes.
- Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking abilities.
- Knowledge of safety procedures, inventory control, and warehouse equipment.
