Warehouse LumperWe are seeking hardworking and enthusiastic individuals who take pride in a job well done. This position is located in Youngstown, OH. We're looking for candidates ready to contribute to a busy warehouse environment and handle manual labor tasks efficiently.Join a dynamic team where your efforts directly impact operations. The Warehouse Lumper is responsible for operating a pallet jack or stand-up tow motor, unloading inbound trucks, stacking products, picking customer orders, and loading vehicles. This role involves physical activity and working in varied temperatures, from refrigerated areas to freezers. - Develop a good understanding of the warehouse layout and inventory placement
- Operate all power industrial equipment safely while moving throughout the facility
- Unload pallets of freight off inbound trucks
- Hand stack items at varying heights, weights, and quantities in different temperature zones
- Select items at varying heights and weights for customer orders
- Move in a full range of physical activities, including bending and lifting weights from 1 to 75 lbs., with occasional lifts up to 90 lbs.
- Must be 18+ years of age
- Physically fit with the ability to move about, walk most of the shift, and lift items frequently throughout the day
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively regarding safety and job tasks
- Basic math skills related to the work environment
- Willing to work in refrigerated environments for 8+ hours
- Ability to be certified and operate a pallet jack safely
- Prior warehouse experience
- Experience with pallet jack or stand-up tow motor operation
- No formal education requirements; prior manual labor or warehouse experience is a plus
- Must be certified or willing to obtain certification to operate a pallet jack
- Ability to work in cold environments (-10 to 34 degrees)
- Physical capability to perform manual lifting and stacking tasks
