Major Responsibilities

• Manage all maintenance and service functions, including preventive and corrective maintenance, and improvements to equipment, facilities, and support systems.
• Plan, coordinate and monitor activities of on-site staff and 3rd party service providers for ongoing upkeep of equipment and facility infrastructure.
• Accountable for activities of maintenance technicians, housekeeping staff, contractors, and service providers.
• Ensure that buildings and grounds are clean, attractive, and conducive to associate productivity and job satisfaction.
• Partners with the Essendant Environmental, Health, Safety, Security & Compliance team to collaborate and provide local support to ensure associate safety, physical asset protection, and regulatory compliance.
• Position will have direct input to repair and maintenance, and capital/major expense budget development and attainment.
• Collaborate with peers to provide occasional support to other facilities in the region as needed.
• Position will have direct input to P&L development and attainment.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

Skills/Knowledge Required

• Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Warehouse equipment knowledge required for material handling equipment, PLC and controls, and CMMS.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong planning, change management, and organizational skills.
• Demonstrate ability to solve problems, increase efficiencies, and improve customer satisfaction by using LEAN processes.
• High degree of initiative, team building, and dedication for effective results.
• Intermediate computer skills.
• Flexibility required for work schedule, as shift hours will vary.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree or relevant technical experience.
• Five or more years relevant leadership experience.

Salary Range: $80,000-$105,000 plus bonus
