This is a leadership position that emphasizes strategic oversight and operational excellence, rather than direct hands-on work.What You'll Do As a Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Leading, managing, and developing the warehouse team by setting clear expectations, conducting performance reviews, and fostering a positive work environment.*
- Overseeing all warehouse processes, including receiving, stocking, picking, and shipping, while identifying opportunities for efficiency improvements.*
- Maintaining and enforcing all standard operating procedures (SOPs), and standardizing workflows to reduce errors and improve accuracy.*
- Ensuring the effective use of ERP systems, providing training, identifying gaps, and driving system enhancements.*
- Managing inventory accuracy through cycle counts, labeling, organization, and resolving discrepancies with corrective actions.*
- Tracking, analyzing, and reporting key performance indicators (KPIs), using data to inform decisions and improve warehouse performance.*
- Overseeing daily operational activities, adjusting resources as needed, and supporting the team during busy periods.*
- Collaborating cross-departmentally with sales, purchasing, and accounting teams to ensure alignment with company goals and smooth order fulfillment.
- Proven leadership and team development experience in warehouse or related operations management.*
- A strong background in warehouse processes, logistics, or supply chain operations.*
- Experience with ERP systems or quick adaptability to new technology platforms.*
- A data-driven approach to tracking performance metrics and making informed decisions.*
