This role involves building inventory tracking systems from scratch, ensuring efficient material flow, and leading a team to support rapid product development. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced setting and possess a strong ability to create structure and optimize processes in an evolving landscape.Key Responsibilities:
- Spearhead inbound receiving, verifying shipments, and managing documentation.
- Develop and implement inventory tracking for thousands of unique parts.
- Organize warehouse layout for efficient material staging and retrieval.
- Lead a team of material handlers and receiving specialists.
- Establish warehouse workflows and operational standards.
- Experience managing inventory in high-mix, low-volume settings.
- Proven ability to build and improve warehouse processes.
- Proficiency with inventory tracking tools such as spreadsheets or barcode systems.
- Experience in R&D, prototype, aerospace, or defense manufacturing environments is a significant advantage for this role.
