UTLX offers competitive compensation and benefits as well as an opportunity to be a part of a top-notch team where enthusiasm, expertise, and progressive thinking are valued.- Safely loads/unloads materials onto pallets, racks and shelves by hand or using a variety of material handling equipment (such as a forklift).
- Conduct quality assessments of materials during loading/unloading operations.
- Read and interpret work orders to determine which materials to pull and deliver. Prioritizes work to meet production demands.
- Keep materials area and other work areas clean and orderly and report potential hazards.
- Participate in counting materials for cycle counts and inventories. Communicate and maintain inventory levels.
- Able to pass drug screen, physical, and forklift test.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prioritize work/training assignments as required.
- Responsible for positive interaction and communication with staff, supervisors, and customers.
- Responsible for developing and maintaining positive self-motivation.
- Prior experience operating a crane and / or forklift truck
- Must have a valid driver's license and good driving record
- Ability to successfully pass required testing for forklift
- Prior experience operating switching equipment is preferable
- Support quality projects and responsible care initiatives to ensure the Company meets its goals
- Have a good attendance, safety and employment record
