Job Description
Title: Warehouse Mover Pay Rate: $24.00 26.95/hr on W2Location:East Durham, NY 12423Duration: 06 MonthsDay Shift: B & C Shift (7: 00 PM 7: 00 AM)Job Description: As an ICM1, you will manage the receipt, control, and movement of raw and packaging materials using powered industrial trucks (PIT) and inventory systems. This role plays a key part in maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting production operations.Key Responsibilities:
- Perform daily inventory reconciliation to ensure stock accuracy
- Monitor material status including near-expiry, quarantine, and system tracking
- Replenish materials to maintain optimal inventory levels
- Operate ERP systems (SAP/WMS) to manage inventory movement
- Safely operate powered industrial trucks (PIT)
- Ensure materials issued to production are clean, labeled, and compliant
- Dispose of rejected materials according to procedures
- Track and maintain warehouse equipment compliance
- Input accurate data for receiving, inspection, and issuance processes
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within warehouse operations
- Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant work environment
- Follow all company policies, SOPs, and EHS guidelines
- Maintain strong attendance, conduct, and safety standards
- Continue skill development toward ICM Level 2
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Basic math skills
- Ability to read and write in English
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Flexibility to work extended hours as needed
- 1+ year experience in a fast-paced warehouse or manufacturing environment (cGMP preferred)
- Experience with SAP, WMS, or ERP systems
- PIT (forklift) certification or experience
- Inventory control and/or shipping & receiving background
- Familiarity with FDA-regulated environments
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated with ability to work independently
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Knowledge of Lean/continuous improvement processes
