Warehouse Operator (Forklift) — C Crew (7am–7pm)
• Location: Canaan, CT (On-site) • Pay Rate: $23.00/hour • Type: Temporary (W2) | 40 hrs/week • Openings: 1
About the roleWe’re hiring a Warehouse Operator with forklift experience to support warehouse material handling operations. This is an on-site position in Canaan, CT and is currently intended as a backfill for an associate on leave (assignment may be extended).
Shift / Schedule (C Crew — Alternating)7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
This is an alternating schedule :
- Week 1: Mon / Tue / Fri / Sat / Sun
- Week 2: Wed / Fri (Repeats every two weeks)
- Operate forklifts and other equipment to move materials, parts, assemblies, and finished goods throughout the facility
- Follow SOPs and quality guidelines to complete routine warehouse tasks
- Maintain basic records as needed
- Work effectively in a metrics-driven environment with general to limited supervision
- Forklift operator experience
- High school diploma (or equivalent)
- 0–1 year of warehouse or related experience/training (preferred, not required)
- Ability to read/write English and perform basic math
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to meet physical demands such as standing/walking, lifting, reaching, pushing/pulling, and repetitive hand use
- Drug Screen: 10-panel
- Benefits available to full-time employees after 90 days
