The Warehouse Operator is responsible for shipping, receiving and loading functions at our plant in Frankfort, Indiana and will ensure that safety and compliance is their highest priority. This role will allow you to learn more about our plant operations and can open the door to career opportunities with increased responsibilities. We will provide you with the necessary training to be successful in this position.

Major Tasks and Responsibilities

• Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to, schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship)
• Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store)
• Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audit
• Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization
• Operate and maintain preventively warehouse vehicles and equipment
• Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations

Basic Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in warehousing operations
• Experience with chemical handling and fork truck operation
• Basic understanding of computer systems; Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and SAP

Physical Demands:

• Lifting a maximum of 60 lbs
• Wearing respirator/SCBA
• Wearing of chemical suits in extreme temperatures
• Climbing stairs
• Working at heights on top of tankers
