Job Description
Title: Warehouse Order Selector/Shipping Duration: 6 months TEMP TO PERM Location: 100 Danton Drive, Methuen, MA 01844 Shift: 3rd shift 3pm- 11pm (Post conversion OT may extend to 1am- 3am. OT is optional during training. Once candidate is converted to FTE, OT is based on senority.) Work schedule: Schedule 1: Sunday, Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday OR Schedule 2: Sunday, Monday Tuesday, Friday, Saturday. Payrate for role is $20.50 per hourPosition Overview Client is seeking Warehouse Order Selectors for temp to hire opportunities supporting distribution center operations. This role includes a 17-week structured training and evaluation period, after which workers may be considered for full-time employment based on performance. Candidate Profile: Training is available in both English and Spanish. Bilingual (English/Spanish) candidates are encouraged to apply. All employees must be able to follow safety procedures and training instructions. Demonstrated reliability and consistent attendanceRole Responsibilities Use voice - controlled system to select full case grocery, frozen and or/other perishable products using a ride on electric pallet jack. Headsets will be worn throughout entire shift Palletize cases and prepare pallets to ship to local stores. Candidates must be able to lift up to 87 lbs at any given time to shoulder level and up to 76.5 lbs overhead, throughout an entire shift.Please ensure candidates are fully aware of the physical requirements of this role prior to submission. Workers will be responsible for individually lifting and moving products as part of their regular job duties. Candidates must be able to obtain clearance to ride an electric pallet jack and other equipment as necessary. Candidate will be working in refrigeration conditions (34- 37-degree F)
