Order Selector I - Temp to Hire- Manager is looking for hire 3 resources. Location: Bellevue, WA 98005 Pay Rate: $28.56/hour Shift: 1st Shift, 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM (30-minute unpaid lunch)

• Schedule 2: Tuesday- Saturday (3 openings)

Assignment Duration: Initial 60-day assignment with the potential for conversion to a full-time position based on attendance, performance, adherence to safety standards, and business needs. Extension Opportunity: Possible Conversion Opportunity: Yes Union Requirement: Employees who convert to full-time status will be required to join the onsite union. Position Overview:

• We are seeking experienced Order Selectors to support distribution center operations at the Bellevue Milk Plant. This role requires selecting and pelletizing dairy and refrigerated products using voice-directed technology and a ride-on electric pallet jack in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Candidates should be comfortable performing physical work throughout the shift while working in refrigerated conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Use a voice-directed order selection system to accurately select full-case dairy, refrigerated, and other perishable products.
• Operate a ride-on electric pallet jack to pick and transport products throughout the warehouse.
• Wear a voice-picking headset for the duration of the shift.
• Build stable pallets and prepare orders for shipment to local stores.
• Ensure orders are selected accurately and efficiently while maintaining productivity standards.
• Follow all company safety, food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Work effectively with supervisors, team members, and drivers to support daily operations.

Required Qualifications / Basic Qualifications:

• Must be eligible to work in the United States for an indefinite duration without limitations.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent order selecting experience required.
• Previous experience operating an electric pallet jack required.
• Must be able to obtain clients certification to operate electric pallet jacks and other material-handling equipment.
• Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate effectively in English to perform the essential functions of the role, including:
  • Following safety procedures and training instructions
  • Understanding verbal and written work instructions
  • Using voice-directed picking technology
  • Communicating effectively with supervisors, coworkers, and truck drivers
• Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and consistent attendance.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining high levels of productivity and accuracy.

Physical Requirements: Candidates must be fully capable of performing the physical demands of this position.

• Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, stack, and move products weighing up to 50 lbs throughout the shift.
• Ability to frequently lift products to shoulder height and overhead.
• Ability to stand and walk continuously for extended periods.
• Ability to bend, stoop, squat, reach, twist, and perform repetitive motions throughout the shift.
• Ability to safely mount, dismount, and operate material-handling equipment.
• Ability to perform physical labor in a refrigerated environment for the entire shift.

Important: Workers will be responsible for individually lifting and moving products as part of their daily job duties. Please ensure candidates fully understand these physical requirements prior to submission. Equipment & Technology

• Ability to wear a voice-picking headset throughout the entire shift.
• Ability to learn and use voice-directed warehouse technology.
• Ability to safely operate electric pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment after training and certification.

Work Environment:

• Must be comfortable working in a refrigerated environment maintained at approximately 34 F - 37 F for the duration of the shift.
• Comfortable working around moving warehouse equipment and machinery.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment while maintaining productivity and quality standards.
• Ability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as business needs require.
• Must comply with all safety requirements and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Ability to demonstrate teamwork and professionalism in a unionized work environment.

• Accurately select and pelletize products according to customer orders.
• Meet established productivity, quality, and accuracy standards.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures.
• Maintain excellent attendance and punctuality.
• Work safely and efficiently in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Hiring Process:

• Qualified candidates will be invited to attend a 30-minute onsite interview.
• Candidates may be required to demonstrate relevant warehouse experience and discuss prior order selecting and pallet jack operation experience.

Dress Code & Required Equipment:

• Safety shoes are required on Day 1.
  • Close-toed, slip-resistant shoes are not considered safety shoes.
• Must dress appropriately for a refrigerated warehouse environment.
• Additional PPE may be required based on site safety guidelines.
