Position Overview 

As the Warehouse Site Manager at our newly acquired 40,000 sq. ft. St. Louis facility, you will oversee daily warehouse operations across both day and night shifts. This site is supported by a team of 30+ personnel, primarily warehouse associates and drivers, along with a small group of office staff. 

This is a hands-on leadership role that involves building out processes and procedures, stepping in as needed to support operations, and ensuring the team runs efficiently. Success in this role requires strong operational expertise, urgency in decision-making, and proven skills in logistics, quality management, and team leadership. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Shift Leadership & Operations – Lead day and night shifts; ensure smooth inbound, outbound, and transfer operations; maintain strong floor presence. 

• Facility Oversight – Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized facility; support proactive equipment maintenance. 

• Logistics & Coordination – Manage routing, scheduling, and cross-dock transfers in partnership with logistics and transportation teams. 

• Transportation Management – Support dispatch, routing, and scheduling; optimize transportation for cost, safety, and timeliness. 

• Quality & Compliance – Enforce food safety, AQL standards, and ERP accuracy; oversee inventory control and quality checks. 

• Safety Leadership – Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, and company safety standards; lead audits and training. 

• People Management – Supervise warehouse, transportation, and safety staff; oversee recruiting, onboarding, and development. 

• Customer Service – Partner with customer service to resolve warehousing/transportation issues and ensure accurate, timely deliveries. 

• Systems & Reporting – Train and monitor ERP usage; track performance metrics such as outbound efficiency, transfer timeliness, and error rates. 

• Budget & Cost Control – Assist with budgets, analyze costs, and identify savings opportunities. 

• Reporting & Communication – Prepare reports on performance, safety, and compliance; align operations with business goals. 

Experience & Qualifications 

• 5+ years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or operations management, with a track record of progressive leadership. 

• Experience in building out processes and procedures in a growing or newly acquired facility. 

• Strong background in transportation, inventory control, and ERP systems. 

• Demonstrated ability to lead teams across multiple shifts. 

• Food, beverage, or distribution industry experience preferred. 

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
