Job Description
BrightKey is looking to hire a Warehouse Specialist to support our team in Alexandria, VA. The ideal candidate will have experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment and experience in inventory management. The Warehouse Specialist is responsible for assisting with IT warehouse inventory. - Proven warehouse experience, ideally including inventory and IT asset management
- Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs.
- Experience in using and operating warehouse equipment, forklift certification preferred
- Must have or be able to obtain a Security Clerance
Key Information:
- Pay: $24.07 per hour plus $5.09 per hour in Health & Welfare benefit

- Schedule: First shift, Monday – Friday (start time expected between 7:00-8:00am)
- Location: Alexandria, VA (on-site)
Key Responsibilities for the Warehouse Specialist:
- Access to stored items through a customer portal including pictures of items to view our assets and schedule time for them to be shipped/delivered.
- Submit work requests to pick-up/ship/receive and move orders of equipment to and from all locations
- Deliveries and shipments/staging between 6am – 8pm EST.
- Provide selecting services, sorting, staging, and shipping (freight w/white glove delivery and FedEx).
- Professional packaging/packing services and materials (to include palletizing and shrink-wrapping equipment).
- All items are barcoded/asset tagged as they are inventoried (receipt), placed in pre-determined location and accompanying documentation provided back for asset management intake.
- Decommissioning of end-of-life equipment in partnership w/OIT Asset Management and Property Management.
- Assist in other warehouse and related duties as assigned.
Qualifications for the Warehouse Clerk Role:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Specialist or similar role.
- Proficiency in operating warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, scissor lifts, and cherry pickers highly preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic computer skills for inventory management systems.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods.
- Capacity to perform physical tasks that require repetitive motions.
- Able to lift up to 70 pounds.
