The Opportunity

The successful candidate will join our Production team to manage materials to support prototyping and low volume production.This position requires prior experience with material movement processes in a small manufacturing environment.Responsibilities

  • Maintain a highly organized and clean stockroom
  • Transact materials accurately and efficiently in an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system
  • Track part shortages and keep the production team apprised of the status of these shortages
  • Prioritize and track incoming items requiring initial test and inspection processes
  • Perform periodic material counts to verify accuracy of inventory levels
  • Work in multi-discipline engineering environments and assist various project teams by responding in a timely manner while maintaining a high level of accuracy and traceability

Qualifications

  • 5-10+ years experience working in an electronics parts stockroom
  • Experience receiving and issuing parts from stock with a high degree of accuracy
  • Experience kitting parts from raw inventory per a pick list or other Bill-of-Materials (BOM)
  • Extensive experience with ERP software including screen navigation, transaction entries, running reports, and analyzing data
  • Experience with isolating and tracking defective materials
  • Experience with office software tools MS Office (Excel, Word) and Windows O/S
  • Have a Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree or equivalent experience in an electronic product design and manufacturing environment

Desired

  • Experience working in a “project-based” materials tracking environment
  • Experience working in a defense contract environment
  • Experience working within ISO-9000 or equivalent quality systems including ESD awareness
  • Experience with creating and printing a variety of labels including multiple bar code symbologies and formats.
