Qnity Electronics is seeking a reliable and safety-focused Warehouse Specialist to support warehouse operations at our Schaumburg, IL facility. This role is responsible for material handling, order picking, forklift operation, inventory restocking, and ensuring materials are delivered accurately and safely throughout the warehouse.

The ideal candidate has hands-on warehouse experience, strong attention to detail, and experience operating a stand-up forklift.

Shift: 7:00 AM-3:30 PM (Monday - Friday), Overtime may be required based on business needs

Key Responsibilities

  • Use a Forklift to deliver materials to dedicated drop-off locations within the warehouse facility.
  • Meet department targets and consistently adhere to quality and safety standards,
  • Work with departmental mentors to gain and apply feedback in pursuit of improved work quality,
  • Receive and check incoming pick tickets on daily basis, locate products in warehouse accurately,
  • Retrieve orders according to quantity, size, etc. ensuring accuracy.
  • Build pallets with orders and position them on loading docks, wrap orders before loading on trucks
  • Re-stock inventory manually or with warehouse equipment, keep records of completed orders, maintain equipment and report on malfunctions, other responsibilities as assigned.
  • This position completes forklift training requirements needed in order to advance to the intermediate level.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED,
  • 1+ years of demonstrated experience in a material handling or picker within a warehouse environment
  • Candidates must have experience in operating a stand-up forklift.
  • Basic computer skills with the ability to review and respond to requests via email/teams,
  • Proficient in using MS Office products, including Outlook, Word, and Excel,
  • Experience or license in handling forklifts, pallets jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
  • Basic math skills with the ability to calculate quantities and weights proven, Good interpersonal and organizational skills with the ability to understand and complete requests given by team member of the department.
  • Ability and willingness to follow Health Safety & Environment procedures accurately, reporting concerns promptly to the safety action team.
