Job Summary
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a/an 2nd Shift Warehouse Supervisorlocated in Henrico, VA.
Reporting to the Warehouse Manager,the Warehouse Supervisor role involves overseeing a wide variety of warehouse activities including shipping and receiving raw materials and/or finished goods and maintaining inventory and associated records.
Working hours for 2nd shift are 3-11:30 PM, Monday-Friday.
What a typical day looks like:
Oversees the shipping, receiving and distribution of goods.
Ensures orders delivered are accurately and efficiently filled.
Performs quality assurance checks on all products received before stocking or distributing goods.
Maintains proper levels of stock in warehouse to ensure maximum profitability.
Maintains files on all equipment. Conducts routine and periodic inventory counts on warehouse
Accountable for ordering necessary equipment.
Ensures sites are adequately and routinely stocked.
Ensures warehouse is maintained in an efficient, neat and safe manner.
Accountable for the maintenance and upkeep of warehouse
The experience we’re looking to add to our team:
Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of materials experience, with advanced experience using (MRP) systems or related field.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form
