FW Logistics is an experienced logistics service provider that is large enough to handle supply chain logistics needs while still being small enough to give specialized service. We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Warehouse Supervisor supporting the Warehouse General Manager.
The main responsibility of the Warehouse Supervisor is to assist the General Manager with day-to-day operations of our 3PL facility. This role will interact heavily with our hourly staff.
Location: 602 Humboldt Ave. St. Louis, MO. 63147
Hours: M-F 10:00am to 06:00pm or M-F 02:00pm to 10:00pm
Pay: $55K to $60K annual salary
Primary Duties:
- Supervise and coordinate the work of all employees
- Process orders from requisitions and dispense items from stock
- Utilizes a forklift to move freight to the appropriate location
- Prepare schedule, work assignments, and special project
- Oversee all workflow to ensure orders are completed accurately and on schedule
- Manage, motivate, and mentor all warehouse employees to ensure work is completed efficiently and effectively in accordance with company policy
- Enforce company policies regarding standards for sanitation, maintenance, safety, and security
- Reports employee hours into payroll system weekly
- Utilizes the computer system to ensure stock records are up to date
- Completes all required documentation for inbound and outbound documents
- Communicates operational issues to the supervisor
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's preferred
- 2+ years related experience in a distribution center; or equivalent combination of education and training
- Previous WMS experience preferred
- Proficient with MS products, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Ability to read, analyze, interpret, and implement business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and governmental regulations
- Ability to communicate effectively orally and in written words (reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals)
- Previous forklift experience required
- Case-picking experience preferred
- Ability to lift 50 LBS repeatedly
