Warehouse Supervisor

Job Description:

• The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for leading and optimizing warehouse operations to ensure the safe, efficient, and accurate movement, storage, and distribution of materials and finished goods.
• This role oversees inventory management, receiving, storage, order fulfillment, shipping, and logistics activities while driving operational excellence, safety compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• The Warehouse Supervisor provides both strategic and hands-on leadership, ensuring high levels of customer service, inventory accuracy, productivity, and cost efficiency.
• This position plays a critical role in supporting business objectives through effective warehouse management, team development, and cross-functional collaboration.

What will you do?

• Lead daily warehouse operations, including receiving, put away, inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipping activities.
• Ensure inventory accuracy and efficient material flow to meet business and customer requirements.
• Drive operational excellence by monitoring performance, resolving issues, optimizing warehouse layouts, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards while fostering a strong culture of workplace safety.
• Lead, coach, and develop warehouse team members to achieve safety, quality, productivity, and cost objectives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Transportation, and Customer Service, to ensure seamless operational execution.
• Analyze operational metrics and implement corrective actions to improve efficiency, service levels, and cost performance.

What qualifications will make you successful?

• Bachelor's Degree preferred, not required. Equivalent experience and skills can be substituted for education
• 3+ years of relevant experience in a Warehouse or Distribution environment with at least 2 of these years in a leadership role (leading teams of 15+).
• Strong understanding of material logistics processes, inventory accuracy/systems, and production/order requirements.
• Experience with ERP & WMS systems (SAP S/4HANA preferred) preferred)
• Experience leading continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, 5S, Kaizen, Six Sigma, DMAIC).
• Experience supporting audits, compliance programs, and operational standardization.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including root cause analysis with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including interaction with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
