DESCRIPTION/JOB SUMMARY
To directly supervise warehouse employees and processes in order to achieve maximum operational efficiency, meet or exceed all quality and productivity goals, and maintain compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements.
RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES
Ensure that daily operations are safe and effectiveWork closely with Management to ensure operational effectiveness and efficiencyOrganize the warehouse and strategically use resources to maximize efficiency in daily operationsContinuously develop and implement new ideas to improve performance and reduce costOversee employee training and ensure that employees are following established operational and organizational procedures Operate powered industrial trucks and RF Scanners to perform general warehouse duties such as loading and unloading finished goods to and from containers, trailers, and racked locations, and assist in other warehouse duties as needed Establish a visible presence in the warehouse throughout the workday while monitoring flow of product and promptly addressing any issues that may ariseDevelop and maintain a positive working relationship with all employeesEstablish and maintain cross training and adjust personnel assignments as necessary to maximize outputAssist with managing and processing all time off requests via the time management system and ensure proper staffing levels for the departmentAssist Management with monitoring existing processes and implement changes accordingly to eliminate non-value-added work contentAssist with organization and cleaning of work area, keeping aisles and walkways clear at all times, and perform regular safety auditsEnsure all personnel are current to any new and updated procedures in the Learning Management System (Litmos)Maintain compliance with Food & Drug Administration (FDA), Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA), and Pride policies and procedures Assist with staff management including documenting and communicating objectives, positively impacting employee morale, motivating team members, conducting performance appraisals, appropriately addressing individual or group performance issues, and consistently enforcing all company policies, procedures, best practices, and applicable lawEnsure all safety and security rules are strictly observed and any accidents, incidents or injuries are promptly reported to managementComplete the annual CTPAT Security Training Assist with assigning, training, and developing staff based on experience and departmental goalsAssist with developing goals and objectives, and measuring outcomes to ensure goals are metFocus on continuous improvement, and consistently demonstrate good business judgmentWork effectively with all Pride departments to exceed internal and external expectationsPride retains the discretion to modify duties and/or assign other duties as necessaryREQUIRED SKILLS

At least 5 years of production, warehouse and/or distribution center experience including safely operating various types of forklifts/industrial powered equipment and RF scannersAt least 1 year of experience directing the work of other employees in a warehouse, distribution or manufacturing environment as a Lead or SupervisorPREFERRED EXPERIENCE
At least 3 years of experience with supervising at least 10 staff members preferredCurrent or previous successful employment experience with Pride Mobility Products Corporation preferredREQUIRED EDUCATION
High School Diploma or GEDREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
