Warehouse Technician

What you will do

• Managing material deliveries and pickups of stocked items
• Maintaining current and correct warehouse inventory
• Requesting stock order POs to replenish known stock items as needed
• Receiving in delivery trucks.
• Must be able to operate a forklift in accordance with company policies and OSHA standards
• Counting and verifying vendor deliveries and ensuring no products were damaged by the carrier prior to acceptance.
• Pulling pick ticket orders and delivering them to project sites.
• Maintaining the cleanliness of the warehouse.
• Strick adherence to all OSHA and Vanir safety protocols

What We Are Looking For

Required:

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Previous experience in building supply, especially in the exterior cladding sector.
• Comfort and proficiency with modern technology and software tools
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Valid Class D (SC) or C (NC) non-commercial driver's license required with no at-fault MVR

convictions in the last 3+ years or DUI convictions in the last 10 years (CDL not required)

• Ability to pull and back open trailers up to 18 feet in length
• Ability to lift 80lbs regularly and 100lbs occasionally
• Ability to work outside and/or non-conditioned spaces year round

Preferred:

• Siding Warehouse Experience: Prior experience in the supply and warehouse industry,preferably in exterior cladding is a must and will help you hit the ground running.
• Tech-Savvy: We're one of the most tech-forward construction companies around, and proficiency with technology is essential to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
• Self-Starter: You'll have autonomy over your schedule, so being highly organized and able to manage your tasks without constant oversight is a must.
