Warehouse Utility Worker

Summary:

This position is responsible for receiving product in the warehouse & putting it away in bins and on shelves in designated areas and picking parts to fill customer orders.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Receives vendor shipments, unpackaging, and putting away in designated areas of warehouse.

Performs & verifies counts, audits, and inventories parts/product as required.

Picks orders from sales order invoices, pulling correct parts timely to fill orders.

Packs customer orders in correct packaging and labeling for shipment.

Cleans warehouse, work areas, products, and packaging as need arises.

Makes customer deliveries as required.

Assists with warehouse resets on an as needed basis.

Loads customer vehicles with bought products as needed.

Assists other company employees as needed.

Completes general warehouse enhancement/improvement projects.

Performs all other job duties as required.

Job Requirements:

High school diploma, or GED equivalent needed. Any further education/experience in the warehousing area preferred.

Must maintain a positive attitude, with a customer service focus in a fast-paced work environment.

Use of forklift trucks & order pickers experience needed.

Should possess ability to multi-task, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks.

Should be detail-oriented, focused, driven, and a self-starter.

Box truck driving experience preferred, valid driver's license a must.

Must pass pre-employment drug screening, including for THC/marijuana use.

Shift:

Mon-Fri, Day Shift (8am-5pm),  and alternating Saturdays, 9am till noon.

Working Conditions:

Job will include periods of standing, walking, reaching, stooping/kneeling, and bending. Stair climbing and walking on uneven surfaces will also be present. Subject to heat/cold conditions in warehouse conditions. Moderate use of hands and arms will be needed.  May be required to lift to 50 lbs. by self, or team lift to 100 lbs. Use of mechanical lifts required for heavier orders.
